The title of this post is actually the title of this drawing. The drawing was done with charcoal.
I am blown away by how life-like this painter has made his’ life sized cowboys. (By the way, that’s my mum standing to portray the size of this painting.)
Disregarding that this is my sister, I’d say that this person is trust worthy. That is, if we are judging by the eyes.
Once again I am alternating between cursing my computer’s offspring and crying bucketfuls. I cannot seem to get the photos from my pre-spring-break vacation to load onto wordpress. So you will have to satisfy yourself with this:
On Thursday, the 27th, a nationwide movement took place that I had the honor in being involved with. I got to join Freedom Fighters from around the world as we SHOWED A LIGHT ON SLAVERY. We drew a RED X on our hands. We told the world that slavery still exists and WE WOULDN’T STAND FOR IT. Just by using our influence in any way we could, we helped carry the message of FREEDOM so even more people know. We SHOWED A LIGHT ON SLAVERY.
[most of this text that you just read I copied and pasted from the website http://www.enditmovement.com. They worded it better than I ever could.]
Most people don’t know that slavery still exists. There are 27 million slaves, and we need to know about it. This is a picture of everyone in my family with our Red X.
I love how you can walk into any coffee shop in my-fine-town and find a pure artist.
I just love the colors of these apples in the middle of winter.
